Tug of War Competition for the Michelin Challenge Cup

The Tug of War competition for the Michelin Cup will take place on the Saturday afternoon at around 2.00 p.m. This years competition is likely to be a hard fought event, with ‘Team Vespa’ & ‘Team Lambretta’ (more teams encouraged) pulling their tripe out for the name that means soo much to them. It could get noisy and nasty ‘but all in the best possible taste’ The competition will involve a maximum of 8 teams, each team consisting of 6 people with one person to be team Leader. Please enter your club team at the reception, anytime before 1.00 p.m. on the Saturday.
The name of your scooter club could be the next one to feature on this prestigious trophy! Standing in the pride of place at your club meetings for the next year, the winning team members will receive an exquisite medal, a keepsake you could pass down in your will to your proud family.

The rules of the Tug of War Association will apply to the competition and are contained in their Tug of War Association Rules Manual. In registering the team the Team Leader must have read the Manual and must bring it to the attention of each member of the team.
The Michelin Cup is awarded to the team that wins a knock out competition over 3 rounds.
There will be a draw to decide which teams should compete against each other in the opening round of the competition.
