About this year’s MCCSR

Welcome to the new Mid Cheshire charity scooter rally (MCCSR) & beer festival website, you can find everything you need to know about this year’s rally by browsing the icons at the top of the page.

This year’s MCCSR will take place on the 2nd & 3rd August opening at 12 noon on Friday 2nd and closing at 12 midnight on Saturday 3rd. Our venue for 2024 is the U Lock It Stadium, Chapel St, Wincham, Northwich, Cheshire. CW9 6DA. The home of the Witton Albion football club.

There will be THREE cashless bars, open from midday to midnight on both days. FOUR live acts, competitions, stalls (Saturday only) food outlets, merchandise and a fantastic atmosphere!

We have an exciting new competition this year, for a prize money can’t buy. Click on the ‘About’ arrow at the top of this page and then ‘Competitions’.

We are more than grateful to the board of the U Lock It Stadium for offering their fantastic facilities to us, and also to the Omega Squad scooter club of Northwich for their help and encouragement in getting the MCCSR back onto the rally calendar. Moving to the stadium has meant that our operating costs have been reduced considerably, allowing the rally to return, and hopefully to continue raising money for UK charities, adding to the £52,000 already donated from the profits of previous rallies.

Plastic glasses

To comply with health and safety regulations, the venue is obliged to use disposable plastic pint glasses. However, in an attempt to minimise waste, we will be offering souvenir reusable plastic glasses. They are printed in full colour and features the MCCSR and our sponsors logos. Use them over the weekend and then take them home to use again at other rallies! They are light and almost indestructible. Great for using in your garden too, glass is dangerous, especially when there are children around. You can purchase these super looking souvenir glasses from the reception desk at the entrance to the main building and, because they are sponsored, every penny goes to charity. The cost? just £2 each or 3 for a fiver, we believe they are going to be very popular, so, if you would like to make a reserve order just click on either of the email links at the top right of this page. State your name, how many glasses you would like, and they will be waiting for you at the reception desk with your name on them, no need to prepay.
